Szép csendben poszterOn the Quiet (international première!)
A coming-of-age story set in the contemporary Hungarian countryside, where teenager soloist Dávid decides to stand up for Nóri, 13, a cellist in their youth orchestra who is having a suspiciously close relationship with their 60-year-old conductor. While looking for the truth, Dávid's life soon starts to spiral out of control as he faces tough decisions and the adult society's negligence.

Zoltán Nagy, director of the movie finished his MA studies in the class of Péter Gothár in the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest. Zoltán Nagy made himself known already with his short film ‘Mildly Salty”, which was declared the best Hungarian short film of the year by the Hungarian Film Academy and has been screened in numerous international film festivals. “On the Quiet” is his first feature film. The script has won the main prize of the “MyFirst Script” workshop in the Zagreb Film Festival. Besides the director, producers Gábor Osváth and László Dreissinger will personally introduce the movie on 22nd November to the festival audience.

FoMo poszterFoMo – Fear of Missing out
If you’re not online, you don’t even exist? Gergő and his teenage friends are into three things: partying, sex, and their online following. One night, at a party, Lilla falls victim to the boys. A dare gets out of hand and the youngsters’ world changes forever overnight.

FoMo, filled with hip music by young talented Hungarian bands like Mary PopKids, Fran Palermo, Deep Glaze and Hősök [Heroes], is a credible movie about those born during the turn of the millennium. It takes you through the youngsters every day life – and nightlife – that you haven’t seen yet in any other Hungarian movie.
